The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
